MintRepel

About Us

Born in a Wisconsin Storage Shed

MintRepel started the way most good products do: with a problem that wouldn't go away. In Wisconsin, half the vehicles in the state spend half the year under a cover — classic cars, boats, campers, motorcycles, lake equipment — and every spring brings the same ritual of chewed wiring harnesses, shredded cabin air filters, and nests in air boxes. Traps caught a few mice after the damage was done. Poison created new problems. Nothing actually kept them out.

So we built something that does. MintRepel products use concentrated peppermint oil — an active that overwhelms rodent scent navigation and turns a protected space into somewhere mice refuse to enter — delivered in formats designed for real storage conditions: a clinging, non-corrosive gel for underbodies, a slow-release gel for enclosed spaces, and a spray for perimeters.

Every batch is manufactured in Wisconsin by Oak Ridge Foam & Coating Systems, blended and packaged with the same quality controls used for industrial coatings, and tested where the problem lives: in unheated pole barns, storage units, and machine sheds through genuine northern winters.

We think pest control should protect the things you love without adding poison to your home or your land. If a mouse never gets in, there's nothing to trap, nothing to clean up, and nothing to worry about — just a faint smell of mint and a machine that starts in spring exactly the way you left it in fall.
