1·2·3 How to apply it

1. Empty the cabinet under each sink and look at the back and floor with a torch.
2. Build a collar of gel around each supply line and drain where it passes through the cabinet or wall.
3. Pull the washing machine and dishwasher forward and treat the penetrations behind them.
4. Finish around the water-heater and furnace gas and water lines where they pass through the floor.

✓ Things to consider

• Droppings under a sink mean an active route. Trace it back outside and treat that end too.
• The mint scent is noticeable in a closed cabinet for the first day or two, then settles.
• Do this at the same time as the outside penetrations so you close both ends of each route.

✕ Things to avoid

• Do not apply inside a food-preparation area, on a countertop, or anywhere food is stored or handled.
• Do not coat gas shutoff valves, appliance connectors or flexible supply lines at their fittings.
• Do not treat inside a dishwasher, washing machine or any appliance cavity.
