Where to treat

• The shed sill plate, all the way around, inside and out where you can reach.
• The door threshold and the base of both jambs.
• The corners and any gap where the floor meets the wall.
• Skirting framing if the shed sits on skids or blocks.
• Potting bench and shelving bases.
• Greenhouse framing at ground level, and the door frame.

1·2·3 How to do it here

1. Empty enough of the shed to reach the whole perimeter of the floor.
2. Move seed and pet food into sealed metal or hard plastic bins while it is empty.
3. Coat the sill plate all the way around, then the threshold and jamb bases.
4. Finish at the corners and the bases of anything sitting on the floor.

✕ Watch out for

• Do not apply to a wooden shed floor where you walk or drag equipment.
• Keep it off fuel cans, fuel lines and the carburettor area of small engines.
• Do not treat a shed with an active nest until it has been cleared.
• Do not coat greenhouse glazing or anything that needs to let light through.
