Where to treat

• The full sill line and every service penetration, inside and out.
• Crawl space vents and the access hatch.
• Chimney clean-out doors and any exterior access panel.
• Under sinks and behind appliances, where interior plumbing passes through.
• The attic hatch and any roof-line gap.
• Boat house, dock box, shed and any camper left on site.

1·2·3 How to do it here

1. Do this as part of closing up, on the last dry day, not on the way out the door.
2. Empty the pantry and move anything edible into sealed metal or hard plastic first.
3. Work the outside perimeter, then the crawl space and attic, then the interior penetrations.
4. Photograph what you treated so next season you know where to look and where to touch up.

✕ Watch out for

• Do not treat a property that already has an active infestation without clearing it out first.
• Do not block vents that keep the building dry over the winter.
• Do not apply in food-preparation areas or on countertops.
• Do not rely on the barrier alone if a door or window will not close properly. Fix that first.
